The 2022 AER International Conference will be held at the Union Station Hotel, 1820 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103.
With an overwhelming response to the first AER conference since 2018, the Union Station Hotel is now fully booked. But no need to worry, the Drury Inn St. Louis (Drury Inn St. Louis at Union Station) is next door and can accommodate you.
The Union Station has plenty of parking available, and they have offered AER attendees the discounted parking rate of $18 per day.
The Union Station Hotel
The Union Station has been an icon in St. Louis since 1894. Today the Union Station hotel retains the elegant archways and décor of its famous Grand Hall. The hotel is within blocks of City Museum and less than a mile from the heart of Downtown. Enjoy the 3D light show, featuring dramatic flames and a 100-ft waterfall, plus access to our fitness center and seasonal outdoor pool.
Grand Hall Lobby
Completely renovated and restored, Union Station Hotel’s Grand Hall lobby is an awe-inspiring ode to Americana—with an elegant, contemporary twist. Features include a sweeping archway (The Whispering Arch), gold leaf and fresco designs, mosaic pieces, stained glass windows, a 65-foot-tall domed ceiling, and a model train station.

Enjoy the cuisine and cocktails at several on-site restaurants, marketplaces, and bars. For full-service nightcaps and evening drinks, take a seat at the lounge bar within the hotel’s Grand Hall. Sit down for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Station Grille, which overlooks the fountain. Grab a quick bite to eat or cup of coffee at the Grand Hall Market before venturing to our St. Louis Aquarium. 3D Light Shows
Experience nightly 3D Light Shows in the astonishing Grand Hall. Artistic renderings, fireworks, and other stunning images and animations are projected across the 65-foot ceiling.
Fire & Light Shows
The multi-million dollar lake show features an impressive 100-foot-tall waterfall, 8 lotus-shaped pods that shoot fire 3 stories in the air and glowing light accents.
